Thanks to Angelo the restoration and repair work goes on in many areas of the house. And thanks to Angelo I got visual updates on a daily base.

A slightly unusual view of the house.
The main door is missing as it needed some repair work due to some cracks.

Here it is almost finished. The correct window frame is finally installed (round not square).
Just some frames are still missing.

While I am writing this, I am sitting in Bangkok, ready to meet again with the real estate agent to find the right place to stay (remember: we are moving back to Bangkok in July!). That`s what I am doing since 2 days: visiting schools, houses and appartments. I am only here for 3 days as I did not bring my son for safety reasons (now its quiet) and health reasons (ear infection).

    I like your blog !!
do not miss my goods , they are very beautiful !!

    acrylic jewelry

    Akoya pearl beads

  2. I did not comment on your recent floor tiles blog, they are beautiful. Unfortunately nothing quite so old in our house, we have had to replace most of them but gone for old style in the main living area.

We have a half moon similar to that one over one of our doors! My husband has just renovated it. I will be posting before and after photos at some point.

Good luck with your search fro accommodation in Bangkok. By the way my daughter had a great time a few weekends ago and says all was quiet, they are going again soon :)

  3. gosh - what a gorgeous house you have! can't you all find work in Italy? I hate you being back in the far east so far away from this wonderful home!!! i worry about you!

  4. Just popping in to say hello. I'm not dead, just busy. Normal service will resume as soon as possible :)

  5. I love this view! Is the house next to a church? I love your blog... and am incredibly jealous. Someday I will be there, too. :) We can be neighbors!!

  6. Thanks for all your comments.

I wish I could be there and enjoy the sea view right now. So, I am jealous myself...

Actually our work in Thailand will help to pay the progress in Italy!
And next summer holiday I will be there for six weeks!!!

And I am looking forward to nice neighbours and guests!!!
